My Trip to Japan, November 2001

continued

Seto-Ohashi, South Span

On my way back to Osaka, I decided to drive to Takamatsu via the northern coastline of Shikoku to enjoy the view of the Seto Inland Sea. After that, I crossed the multiple spans of Seto-Ohashi, which carries both automotive and rail traffic - it is the main thoroughfare between Honshu and Shikoku. (The toll I paid for the entire trip to drive on highways and bridges cost close to $150, so I doubt I'll travel this area by driving next time!)
